This exhibition arose from an experiment, from an attempt to keep the dialogue between the artists going even if there is a pandemic outbreak. Temporary Un/Availability is a project about the idea that our invisible borders are flowing and soon we will be able to meet and work as usual, although we understand that ‘as always’ will no longer be.
We have sought to explore and rethink the concepts of place and memory, in the absence of physical access to places, but such things are easier to conceptualize than to do while residing in virtual capsules. We talked a lot about creativity in the digital transformation, about aesthetics and ecology, we imagined places and thought about spaces. The artistic tandems were formed as the result of a joint trip, which ended in Kyiv. And although the main goal of this project was a dialogue between artists, this exhibition is also the result of the dialogue. The exhibition about places, space, and temporary unavailability.
